My Custom Desk:

Recently I have moved into my Attic after it's recent conversion. Since being in there for the last 3 - 4 weeks, I have now cut a custom desk to stick up there. It is currently screwed into the posts that support the banister. This makes a sturdy support for the desk which is a wide coffin shape. There is loads of space for at least two monitors which is good and I plan to post a project video soon!! On the picture to the left you can see the current state of the desk. There is a splash of paint on one of the sides as I decided to paint the underneath of it white to blend with the rest of the room. The chair I use is more of a stool and if I'm being honest, very uncomfortable so I'll have to look for a new one soon.

So I created my avatar using an iPhone app called FaceQ, I had a few options but I think this mixture looked most like me!

My Laptop

I am currently running Windows 10 Technical Preview on my laptop. This is mainly because I dropped my laptop and ruined the hardrive so the only available OS at the time was Windows 10. It's a great OS and works nicely. Is it a bit slow from time to time but that's mainly due to the specs of my laptop.

Windows 10 Pro:

Windows 10 is now live!! If you are on Windows 8.1or 7 you can upgrade for free using a simple tool or using the Windows logo in the bottom RIGHT of your screen in the notification area. This is all great except I was running Windows 10 Technical Preview which meant I couldn't upgrade. Therefore I've had to downgrade all the way back to Windows 7 using various torrents and then finally installed Windows 10!!

This means that I finally own a legit version of Windows on my laptop which makes it faster and really smooth!! If you are facing the same problems as I was, let me know using the Contact page. I am working on a video about It which should be up in around a week!!

Overall Windows 10 is a great Operating Software and if you are on Windows 7 or 8.1, I highly recommend the update. My favourite feature has to be Cortona or the improved XBOX app which allows you to stream your XBOX to your PC aswell as control it via the PC itself or a XBOX ONE controlled (attached by usb) which is amazing!!
