Intro Project

I made this in After Effects CS6 and Premier Pro. If you want to make one of these but don't have the money to but the software, check out my Free Software page on this site. On there you can watch my video tutorial on how to get the software for free. 

Moving on to how I made it, I created a composition which had a width of 2560 and a height of 1440. Then I imported a picture of a chalk board which you can download by scrolling to the bottom of this page. I then scaled the picture up to crop out the two pieces of chalk that are in the bottom right corner, and then added the first layer of text saying TheBattersby. In the intro video the text fades in to create the idea of someone writing "TheBattersby" down. This was made by duplicating the text layer 12 times and then cutting out each letter with the pen tool. Then I added the fade effect to each letter to create that effect. Then I synced the chalk sound effect with the text layer and left a bit of sound left over to add to the final text layer. With the final text layer, I created the text "Unboxings & Reviews" to place below the first layer. Then synced it with the remaining audio to create a sudden arrival effect.

In my opinion it's a rather nice transition with quite a bit of uniqueness to it. I haven't seen anything like it but there probably will be. I will offer this template to whoever wants it as long as they give me the credit and add my tag to it. I enjoy making these kind of things, and I like how I can go from designing it on paper to then creating it on a piece of technology.
